Delete your account & data

This page is the Google Play web deletion link for the Options Owl Android app (com.optionsowl.app, publisher ParallelAxiom LLC): account deletion is available in the app itself, and you can also request it here. Deletion is free, needs no purchase, and is described in §7 of our Privacy Policy.

1. In the Options Owl app (fastest)

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your profile and posts are hidden immediately, all sessions are signed out, and a 14-day reactivation window starts (see §4).

2. On the website

1. Sign in at strikeviews.com.
2. Open Settings → Data → Delete account and confirm. The same 14-day reactivation window applies.

3. By email request

If you cannot sign in (lost access, deleted the app), email privacy@strikeviews.com from the email address on the account with your nickname in the subject. We may ask a verification question to confirm ownership before deleting. Email requests enter the same 14-day reactivation window: signing back in during that time cancels the deletion.

4. 14-day reactivation window

Requesting deletion does not erase anything right away. For 14 days your profile and posts are hidden from everyone (including search), your handle and email address stay reserved so nobody else can take them, and simply signing back in — in the app or on the website — cancels the request and restores everything exactly as it was. After 14 days without a sign-in the deletion becomes permanent and cannot be undone.

5. What is removed

• Profile (nickname, bio, avatar, language, notification preference).
• Your likes, follows, notifications, and sessions/password-reset tokens.
• Your email address and sign-in credentials — the address becomes reusable for a new account afterwards.

6. What remains & why

• Your posts, attributed to “Deleted user”: twits and replies you wrote stay readable so other people's threads and conversations are not destroyed — but they no longer carry your name, handle, or profile. Removing them would delete replies other users wrote in your threads.
• Encrypted backups & logs: rotate out within approximately 30–90 days; they are not used for any other purpose in the meantime.
• Aggregated or deidentified analytics: anonymous visit counts that cannot be linked back to you.
• Legal records: only where the law requires retention (e.g. responding to a lawful request).
• Copies outside our control: posts you made public may persist in search-engine caches or screenshots taken by others; we remove our copy and cannot remove theirs.

7. How long it takes

In-app and website deletion hide your profile and posts immediately and become permanent after 14 days. Email requests are completed within one month (GDPR) or sooner — usually within days — and we confirm by reply. Questions: privacy@strikeviews.com.
